Additional Info:	My name’s Aled Thomas and I study piano as a junior student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, in Cardiff. I live in Penarth and I could attend rehearsals because I have means of transport. I have studied there since 2003. I have had many experiences of ensemble playing. Previously, I have accompanied a violinist and I have accompanied the R.W.C.M.D choir as a junior student on a few occasions. I’m currently studying towards my diploma on the piano, and I recently completed my Grade 8 in which I had a distinction. Previously, I have performed in the Senedd in Cardiff Bay, and I’ve entertained guests at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff. I have also entertained guests in a private birthday function locally. I’ve tutored piano at home and I’ve entered one pupil for an exam. Last year, I competed in the South Glamorgan Festival for Young Musicians, in Cardiff. The reason why I’m applying for this job is that I want to proceed into the music world after finishing my A Levels at Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg, Barry. I’d love to have the experience of accompanying a choir as it is something I’ve always wanted to do. I want to enhance my musical experiences in order to become a better musician. I could offer many things for the choir. Firstly, I’m enthusiastic and hardworking. Being a Welsh speaker I could introduce some Welsh repertoire for you if you so wished.
