Additional Info:	Pianist, keyboardist, composer and producer Alexander Nettelbeck is a classically trained musician. He has recorded and toured throughout Australia, Europe, Asia and New Zealand with a diverse variety of artists including Kate Ceberano, Ju Ju Space Jazz, Triple J unearthed winner, Vassy, Pete Hemsley’s Sons Of Invention, Lisa Maxwell-Cripps, Aleeoop! Isis Ashton, Conrad Henderson and Deni Hines. As pianist/keyboardist, musical director and accompanist he has performed and recorded with bands and ensembles in many styles and genres from jazz, to folk, swing, reggae, blues, R&B, bossa nova and world music. As solo pianist and with his groups he has held many successful residencies at leading venues, playing for events and major music festivals both at home and overseas. Alexander’s music has featured in dance/ theatre productions, film, radio and television including Network Seven’s ‘All Saints’, SBS and ABC. Qualifications: Graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne (Dip Arts Music/Jazz Studies). Additional study with teacher/mentors Deidre Vadas, Tony Gould, Bob Sedergreen, Alan Zavod, Agrita Klauvert.Additional study through the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Teaching Experience: More than fifteen years experience teaching all levels from beginners to intermediate and advanced/professional. Performance, audition and recording preparation and rehearsal accompanist for singers covering repertoire in all styles from music theatre to jazz, latin, r&b and pop/rock. Teaching classical and non-classical musicians to extend training into improvisational/contemporary styles. Instruction in music theory and piano/keyboard technique for music producers. Accompanist for contemporary dance classes.
