Finished grade 8 of the ABRSM exams in 1982. Started accompanying ballet in 1981. Taught piano since 1983. Studied in London, England in 1986. Toured as an accompanist in Europe and USA in 1987.Received a piano scholarship to study in the USA in 1988. Graduated with BM(Honors), in piano performance in 1992, at Northern Arizona University.
Ever since then, was teaching and accompanying in the US, and now I am in Kunming, China. I accompanied many performers while in Kunming. Accompanied professional singers from Denmark, Germany, Latvia, professional flutist from Switzerland, and also violinist from Kunming, and piano trios and quintet playing as well. Just last year, was one of the accompanist for the Voice competition, and appeared in Yunnan TV Live, for two weeks. |
