*Bio

Han-Wen Yu, a native of Taichung, Taiwan, is the recipient of the 2010 Marc and Eva Stern Fellowship at SongFest, where she studied with Margo Garrett, Martin Katz, Graham Johnson and John Harbison and worked closely with composers John Musto and Lori Laitman. She’s also the recipient of Maestro Circle Scholarship at the 2010 Aspen Music Festival, where she studied with Rita Sloan and mainly played in the studios of Robert Lipsett, Richard Aaron and Elisabeth Hynes. She’s an active collaborative pianist at AMFS, where she played in all the string competitions, several string master classes, several string showcase recitals held in the Music Hall and two spotlight recitals in the Harris Concert Hall with violinists Mayumi Kanagawa and Zhang Jing. She also did a recording with violinist Nigel Armstrong. She back to AMFS in 2011, where she mainly played in the studios of Robert Lipsett and Stephen King. She is studying collaborative piano with Jonathan Feldman and Cameron Stowe at the New England Conservatory.
