Additional Info:	A native of St. Louis, MO and the daughter of a piano teacher, Janna began formal piano lessons at the age of four. She graduated summa cum laude from the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music with a bachelor's of music degree in piano performance. While at Wheaton, she was the overall winner of the annual concerto competition and was twice given the opportunity to perform Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra. Janna has extensive church music and accompanying experience with individuals and groups including the Wheaton College Women's Chorale and the Wheaton Symphony Chorus. She began teaching piano during high school and now is in very high demand as a teacher of several traditional private piano students of all levels and ages, including adults. A member of the Music Teachers' National Association, she is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music. A faculty member at the Wheaton Yamaha Music School since 2001, she is a certified Yamaha instructor and an experienced Musikgarten teacher.
