I have a B.A. in Music History/Literature from St. Olaf College. I have been an accompanist since the 8th grade, and love the collaborative work I get to do. I have accompanied both instrumentalists and vocalists, as well as choral groups and theater. I have been the staff accompanist for the local Gilbert & Sullivan company for 27 years, and am currently employed as rehearsal accompanist for Carpe Diem Vocal Ensemble, a small vocal group that performs a wide range of music. I have also been employed as an accompanist in two different school districts locally, as my full-time job. These jobs included classroom assistance, running of sectionals, and running the rehearsals when my teaching colleagues were not available. I am confident running rehearsals, both choral and theatrical, and coaching musically any of the individuals that I work with. I have played violin, bassoon, flute, and still sing on a regular basis. I have worked with many great teachers and conductors, who have helped me to improve further my coaching skills. |

$ 30.00 Dollars Per Hour
$15 = 30 min lesson or rehearsal
$30 = 1 hr lesson or rehearsal
Anything over 30 minutes would be compensated at the hourly rate. |
