He has performed for such distinguished musicians as Jon Kimura Parker, Daniel Pollack, Seymour Bernstein, Paul Roberts, and Leon Fleisher.
Jeremy has received plentiful recognition for his achievements in piano performance and composition. In 2002, Jeremy won first place in the northwest division of the MTNA high school composition competition. In April, 2003, he was finalist in the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composers Competition. He also won first place three years in a row in the WSMTA Young Composer’s Project, from 2002 to 2004. In November, 2005, he won the MTNA Washington State Young Artist’s Piano Competition in Spokane. More recently, last October Jeremy DesChane was a finalist in a Rachmaninoff concerto competition held at the Eastman School of Music, where he currently pursues his bachelor’s degree in piano performance.
