Additional Info:	I have been playing piano for 25 years and my sight-reading skills are extremely strong. I began accompanying 15 years ago and my strongest skills as an accompanist are my ability to quickly read new material and follow the soloist with little to no rehearsal. I am classically trained and studied formally in private lessons for 13 years. I am equally comfortable playing high level classical repertoire as well as contemporary styles. I attended Berklee College of Music and served as a pianist in the Marine Corps Band at Miramar, CA where I was named the Marine Corps Musician of the Year in 2006. I have accompanied vocalists, choirs and instrumentalists of all types to include woodwind, brass, string, and percussion. I am comfortable playing in high-stress environments as I have accompanied a National Yamaha Piano Competition winner during her concerto performance; yet, I am also experienced in more low-key and spontaneous performances as well.
