Hi! I am Joe De Winkle. I am originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and am currently a junior Music Education major at Anderson University in Anderson, IN. I have been playing piano since I was 4 or 5, and accompanying since middle school.
ACCOMPANYING EXPERIENCE
Choirs:
-AU Women's Chorus (recorded for Candles & Carols 2008 CD & DVD)
-Anderson Area Children's Choir (Student Intern & Accompanist)

-AU's School of Music - mostly for singers' private lessons. I have played for recitals, exams, evaluations, competitions, and such.

-Other performed compositions: "Nada", for voice & piano, premiered March 2009; Movement 1 of "Amerika", for String Quartet, premiered October 2009.
-Was a Prince in AU's production of "Into the Woods"
-Was a Wickersham Monkey in "Seussical"
-Played the role of Il Podestà (the mayor) in Mozart's "La finta giardiniera", also at AU |
