His music calls to mind the kind of artists that approach their art with a concentrated passion. Antonio Carlos Jobim, Kurt Elling, Stevie Wonder, Harry Connick Jr., Sting, and contemporary artists such as Alicia Keys and Michael Buble. Over the past few years, Kit has played at virtually every venue in Portland; from The Aladdin Theater and Crystal Ballroom, to The Portland City Grill, Jimmy Maks, and Arrivederci Wine Bar. He is also one of the founding members of Portland's own cult favorite Pop/R&B group Intervision, with whom he has recorded three albums. Currently, Kit Taylor plays all over the Northwest, with his sights set on a national and international stage.
