I am an experience accompanist specialising in musical theatre and cabaret. My main passion is musical theatre and my knowledge of the repertoire and history of musical theatre is broad and deep. I am also proficient and experienced in jazz, pop/rock and classical.

I am the UK accompanist for Broadway star and New York cabaret legend Karen Akers (Nine, Grand Hotel) performing at Pizza on the Park and the Jermyn Street theatre. I also perform with New York cabaret stars Klea Blackhurst and Jeff Harnar when they in London and New York, and with West End star Rosemary Ashe (The Phantom Of The Opera, Mary Poppins, The Witches Of Eastwick etc.).

Other regular clients include Al Pillay, Steph Parry and Leanne Masterton, performing all over the country and at prestigious London venues including Pizza on the Park, The Pheasantry, The Lanesborough Hotel and the Jermyn Street Theatre.

I am an expert sight-reader which stood me in good stead while working for a number of years on cruise ships and accompanying acts such as Lorna Luft, Claire Sweeney, Iris Williams, The Temptations and The Four Aces.

I am a highly experienced repertoire and audition coach, working at the Royal Academy of Music, the Arts Educational School and the Associated Studios at Riverside Studios. I have great success in supplying clients with appropriate audition material and coaching them to a high professional audition standard, both musically and in presentation.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Music from the University of Bristol where I trained as a classical pianist and composer, and accompanied countless fellow students in their final year recitals.

You will find me friendly, approachable and fun but professional, creative and hard-working. I always give my very best to every project, and love meeting and working with all kinds of different people and exploring new ideas and avenues.

Fees

£ 40.00 Pounds Per Hour
£40 p/hr is my standard fee, although this is negotiable for students and those on very low incomes. Longer rehearsal times can be negotiated for a fixed, lower fee. Peformance fees vary per show.
