Upon completing her studies at the Mariupol State Music College ( Ukraine ) in 1996, Marina continued studying at the Donetsk State Conservatoire ( Ukraine ) from where she graduated in 2001. After graduating, she was a founding member of a chamber ensemble called Viva Classica Trio which through a vigorous audition process was selected to perform aboard the luxury liners of Cunard Line. Their first assignment was aboard the legendary liner, Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) in 2002 where they performed in the commemorative celebrations for Her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee. The Trio was also chosen to perform on the maiden voyage and innaugural season of the world's largest liner, the Queen Mary 2 in 2004 alongside renowned performers such as Dame Shirley Bassey. She also performed onboard as a soloist. Regularly performing on stage to a diverse and international audience has given Marina invaluable experience and the possibility in experimenting with different creative ideas. In 2005 she was invited to partake in several charity and cultural concerts in B. Hamburg ( Germany ), performing as a soloist, duo and trio.
Marina’s previous working experience includes working as an accompanist for the Theatre for Children and Youth (Mariupol, Ukraine, 1994-2001, Cultural Centre), pianist in the Youth Variety Orchestra (Mariupol, Ukraine, 1995-2001, Cultural Centre). During her study in the Music College and the Conservatoire she performed numerous concerts as a soloist as well as in chamber ensembles on many stages, including Mariupol State Music College, Donetsk State Conservatoire, different Cultural Centres, Priazovskiy State Technical University (series of 3 concerts with flute), annual and State Master Degree exams for her fellow-students (flute and viola). In 1998 Marina won the 3rd Prize at the 3rd International Prokofiev Competition and got an award for “high artistic interpretation of a composition of a Ukrainian composer”. In 1999, she was also an award winner at the 4th International N. Rubenstein Piano Competition in Paris .
Marina is permanently settled in Coventry since 2002.
