Additional Info:	Matthew is one of the few Singaporean pianists accepted into the prestigious Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music on a full scholarship. He is under the studio of Steinway Artist Professor Dr Thomas Hecht, Head of Keyboard Studies at the conservatory. As a performer, Matthew has performed in every series of the piano concert calendar in the conservatory which includes the Primarily Piano, Piano Plus, Everybody needs a accompanists, noon recitals and master classes. In 2011, Matthew performed with the world renowned Tang Quartet and Boston Brass in a concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall. In addition, Matthew has performed with the Keppel scholars in Singapore and in Vietnam to show their appreciation to Keppel. Matthew has also work privately and publicly with Lori Kaufman, Melvyn Tan, Graham Fitch, Benjamin Loh, Albert Tiu, Yong Yi Moon, Mirian Hahn, Washington Garcia and Katia Skanavi. In Chamber Music, Matthew has work with the world renowned Shanghai Quartet, Tang Quartet, New Zealand Chamber Soloists and Rhodes Piano Trio. In 2012 Matthew will study for a semester with Melvyn Tan whom the current Straits Time Music Critic described as “Singapore’s Greatest Pianist.” As a piano accompanist, Matthew has accompanied many instrumentalists for their concerts and exams. Recently he work with Dr Choo who is a judge at the SYF string ensemble competition for her student’s violin exams and concert. Matthew has also accompanied church choirs and school choirs since 2004. Besides the piano, Matthew is also an avid tuba player and is one of the first batch of players accepted into the Singapore Wind Symphony Youth Winds. Matthew has performed as a tuba player in symphonic bands such as the Nanyang polytechnic band and Ngee Ann polytechnic band. Matthew had also conducted primary school bands that has won SYF awards from 2004 to 2010
