Additional Info:	www.suzyruffles.co.uk Suzy Ruffles began studying the piano at the age of 4. She took a postgraduate diploma in piano accompaniment at Trinity College of Music in 2005, studying under Eugene Asti and Christine Croshaw and completed the course in July 2007. Suzy recently performed in the inaugural recital of the Oxford Lieder Fringe Festival and was a finalist in the Bath Mid-Somerset Festival Thelma King Award competition. At the Oxford Lieder Festival itself, she performed in a masterclass with Roger Vignoles. In 2008, with flautist Charlotte Bettle and oboist Victoria Small, she formed the Britannic Ensemble, specialising in British chamber music and for two years was part of the ADASKA Ensemble performing all types of chamber music involving part or all of wind quintet and piano before it disbanded in 2011. Suzy plays for the Two Moors Festival in Devon and at AIMS International Music School. She has worked as repetiteur for several productions including Carmen (Meantime Opera), Barber of Seville and Cosi Fan Tutte (Minotaur Music Theatre), Dialogues des Carmelites and The Rake's Progress (Trinity College of Music), Eugene Onegin, Idomeneo, Elixir of Love, Susannah, Clemenza di Tito, Venus & Adonis, Dido & Aeneas, The Magic Flute and Hugh The Drover (Hampstead Garden Opera), Le Nozze di Figaro and Cosi fan Tutte (Vignette Productions – Graham Ross/Andrew Staples) and in the summer of 2012 will be working as Assistant Musical Director for on Cendrillon (Blackheath Community Opera – Nicholas Jenkins/Harry Fehr). Suzy works as a staff accompanist for Trinity College of Music and is the accompanist for the Godalming Choral Society under Michael Veazey and the Greenwich University Choir conducted by Nicholas Jenkins.
