Pianist, organist, fortepianist, harpsichordist and composer. Exceptionally strong sight-reader and can tranpose virtually anything to any other key at sight. Also a singer, so understand the issues involved with singing and accompanying singers. Former organ scholar of Gloucester Cathedral and King's College, Cambridge, and had plenty of experience as a soloist, accompanist, repetiteur,continuo player and orchestral keyboard player. Have worked with musicians such as the Academy of Ancient Music, King's College Choir, the Philharmonia Orchestra, Steven Varcoe, Mark Padmore, Baldur Brönniman, Steven Cleobury, Peter Stark... Repertoire performed includes Schubert's Winterreise and "Trout" Quintet, Messiaen's Turangalîla-Symphonie and Méditations sur le Mystère de la Sainte Trinité, Bach's St Matthew Passion, Mahler's 8th Symphony... Own compositions have been performed by such musicians as Cambridge University Music Society Chorus, the Britten Sinfonia and CHROMA. Former winner of the Cambridge University Music Society Choral Composition Competition and the West Sussex Youth Music Award.
