Additional Info:	Pianist Weonsun Joo was born in Seoul, South Korea, where she began her piano studies at the age of six. In 2006, Ms. Joo moved to California, where she continued her studies. She received a Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis on Collaborative Piano at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA and a Bachelor of Music in Solo Piano Performance from Yonsei University in Seoul, where she studied with Bangsook Lee. She also studied organ and sacred music, and served as organist at the Myeongdong Cathedral in Seoul, Westhope Presbyterian Church in Saratoga, California, and later at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church Parish in Santa Clara, California. Ms. Joo worked closely with the studio of coloratura Erie Mills, an English diction specialist and a past Professor of Voice at San Jose State University, and with the studio of mezzo-soprano Layna Chianakas, Assistant Professor of Voice at SJSU, as well as worked the Master Class of tenor Joseph Frank, Professor of Voice at SJSU. She has accompanied for fall and spring recitals at Valley Christian Schools Conservatory of the Arts in San Jose since 2008. At Notre Dame de Namur University, she assisted Musical Director William Liberatore on Sondheim's Company and played with the Pocket Philharmonic for the December 2009 production of Mozart's "The Magic Flute." She also assisted Musical Director Henry Mollicone on "Children of the Sun", and played piano for Evan Mack on the premieres of "Angel of the Amazon." She played in the orchestra for the October 2010 production of Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro." Recently, she assisted in music direction of Humperdinck’s “Hansel and Gretel.” She presented a duo-piano recital at the Ralston Hall Mansion Ballroom and at First Presbyterian Church in Downtown San Jose.

WEDDINGS Service fees are $100-$350 (service only) Wedding rehearsal with bridal party is $50-$100/hour. Additional rehearsals are $30-$50/hour. FUNERALS Service fees are $100-$225 (service only) Rehearsals $25-$100/hour, depending on the difficulty of the music and the participation of choirs, soloists, or instrumentalists.
