Additional Info:	Ya-Ting LO, pianist Email: artingro@gmail.com Born in Taiwan, Ya-Ting graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree from Tainan National University of the Arts in 2008. During her study in Taiwan, Ya-Ting has been offered scholarships as an honor for achieving the highest marks of many years from the university, and also she obtained many prizes such as Miaoli Country piano competition, The Top Ten of Outstanding Young Musicians Award, Yamaha National piano competition, and Hsing Tien Kong Music Competition. In year 2008 she moved to UK to continue her postgraduate studies in Birmingham Conservatoire under the support of the school. She was granted an M.A. degree with Distinction in solo performance and has been award Beryl Chempin Beethoven Prize and Dennis Matthews Trust scholarships. In the present she is studying for Advanced Performance Diploma at Birmingham Conservatoire with professors Malcolm Wilson, Simon Nicholls and Margaret Fingerhut. Apart from being a piano soloist, Ya-Ting also plays as an good accompanist with singers. Her duo has been invited to perform a concert in Leeds Lieder plus series and played on a masterclass of Sarah Walker in London Wigmore hall. In 2010 she has been given the accompanist prize of Reginald Vincent Lieder Prize.
