Jad Bernardo is a pianist, vocal coach, and musical director in New York City since 2004. He holds a Masters in piano accompanying and a Bachelors Degree in Piano Performance. He has served as coach/pianist for SUOR ANGELICA, LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR, and THE TELEPHONE, I PAGLIACCI, and EUGENE ONEGIN. He has partnered for several years with violist, Nora Krohn, performing a wide range of repertoire for viola and piano. Favorite musical direction credits include, AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', EVITA (Westport Country Playhouse 2018), FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE, SWEENEY TODD, RAGTIME (nominated best musical direction), Off- Broadway hit, PINKALICIOUS!, SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, FUGITIVE SONGS, SPRING AWAKENING, HAIR, LES MISERABLES. Faculty/staff appointments include NYU, Adelphi University (Director or Best of Broadway), Broadway Method Academy, Red River Lyric Opera, SOOP THEATER CO, and Opera Breve Vocal Intensive.
