Additional Info:	Candy Siu is currently a repetiteur for the Vancouver Opera. She had played for the Lucia di Lammermoor and Romeo et Juliette productions and will continue with Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Aida for this season (2011-2012). She was recently a repetiteur trainee at the Flanders Operastudio in Gent, Belgium where she played for Belgian composer Philippe Boesmans' Julie and Il combattimento di Tancredi by Monteverdi productions. At the Operastudio, she played for Sir Thomas Allen and Ann Murray masterclasses. Candy received her Master of Music in Piano Accompaniment from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, studying with Pamela Lidiard, with a scholarship award from the Eduard and Marianne Loeser Bursary. She has been a repetiteur for Montalto Musica and COSI (Centre for Opera Studies in Italy) in Italy for the last 3 summers and also worked as the accompanist / repetiteur for the Irish Vocal Masterclass in Ireland. She has performed in London, Dublin, San Francisco, Minneapolis, and Vancouver, where she currently resides. In addition to being a repetiteur, Candy works as a collaborative pianist at music conservatories such as the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin, University of British Columbia, an organist in churches and accompanist at ballet schools, and performs as a keyboardist for the West Coast Symphony and the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra.
