Additional Info:	Helen Mills is an experienced pianist whose performances with established musicians have taken her around the UK, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece and South America. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2008 with a distinction in the Piano Accompaniment Performance Masters degree after being awarded a scholarship to study there for two years. During her time at the school she studied with Andrew West and Charles Owen, participated in many recitals and projects and won the Tracey Chadwell Memorial Prize for her performance in a contemporary music recital, directed by Sarah Walker. Then in April 2009 Helen completed Udo Reinemann’s monthly International Lied Masterclasses at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels and was consequently invited to perform at the Festival des Heures Romantiques in France in 2008 and 2009. Before moving to London Helen worked as a staff accompanist at the Specialist Music School, Wells Cathedral School for two years, working with talented young musicians aged 8 to 18. Helen is currently a performer on Yehudi Menuhin’s Live Music Now Scheme, works as a staff accompanist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and leads a busy life as a freelance accompanist. She has also worked as a house pianist for various summer schools including Abingdon Summer School for Solo singers and Tutti Flutey in Scotland. She is an excellent sightreader and has experience working with all instrumentalists and singers for recitals, exams, competitions, classes and auditions.
