Additional Info:

A student of the late Raymond Dudley, Jonathan Eason won contests in South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee as an undergraduate and graduate at the University of SC School of Music. After completing his piano studies, he also completed a Master's Degree in vocal performance, studying with the late Heldentenor Gene Ferguson. As an accompanist he uses the skills acquired on both ends of the piano to serve as the perfect cushion for the beginning or professional singer. He is proficient in coaching German and French opera and art song texts, and very comfortable with Latin. He also has some experience with Russian, Slavonic, and liturgical Hebrew. He has plenty of experience as a musical director for musical theater productions, both locally and also at Mesa State University in Grand Junction, Colorado. |
