“We have used Haydn on several occasions for exam accompaniment right up to Grade 8, in both face-to-face exams and recorded online submissions. Haydn takes his work very seriously and contributes massively to great results in exams. Many accompanists' rehearsals simply consist of a 'run-through' in quite an offhand style; but Haydn carefully and sensitively coaches the player in great detail, putting them at ease, commenting on musical aspects of the performance and offering practice tips while not intruding on technical matters. Haydn is always encouraging and positive, and offers Aural Training as well, something that some instrumental teachers do not cover in their lessons. Highly recommended.”

My son was particularly impressed with Haydn’s ability to play the very complex accompaniment for one of the pieces. Haydn also helped him navigate the tricky rhythms required to bring piano and saxophone together.
