Hello,
My name is Cathy Sewell, and I am a Classically trained pianist. Allow me to tell you about myself. I began piano study at age six. I have an Associates Degree in
Piano Performance from Clayton State College in Morrow,Georgia. I continued my music education at Georgia State University while maintaining my private piano study with my professor.
As an accompnanist, I play for Vocalists, Instrumentalists, and Ensembles. From 2006-2013, I worked under Georgia Symphony Orchestra at Murray Arts Center. I had opportunity to play with the Orcgestra as well as being hired out for Recitals, Juries, and Competitions. In 2012, I had the opportunity to accompany one of the American Protégé Winners in New York. The Winners Recital was held in Weill Hall at Carnegie. I also accompany for Fundraisers, Parties, and Weddings.
I play Classical, Broadway, Ragtime, Movie Themes, and Religious piano music.
I have 40 years experience.
