Currently freelancing in Palm Springs CA. Accompanist for the men's vocal ensemble A Cabbello, and active in the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus. I lead PSGMC's small ensemble "Bruce Kenyon's The Arrangement," a group specializing in Barbershop-style singing. I also substitute on the piano at various area churches and am currently "Director of Music" at Desert Outreach Synagogue, assisting and collaborating with Rabbi Chazzan Danny Maseng at monthly Shabbats and annual High Holy Days services.
I have more than 30 years of Broadway and touring experience: Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Ragtime, A Chorus Line, Mary Poppins, La Bohème, Sunset Boulevard, Chicago, Newsies, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Frozen, and others.
In NYC I was a frequent cabaret collaborator with Mary Setrakian and Evangelia Kingsley. In Palm Springs I have worked with such cabaret artists as Lisa Vroman, L. T. Cousineau, Bill Spera, Bonnie G, Lizzie (Schmelling) Sosa, and others.
Specific experience includes opera and classical art song coaching, instrumental accompaniment (sonatas and concertos), folk dance accompanying (RSCDS, ECD, and Contradance)
Available (as my schedule permits) to create transposed, cut, or otherwise savvily edited versions of vocal repertoire for audition purposes.
