Dominic studied piano and composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has had a long career working in various musical styles with an emphasis on Musical Theatre. He has worked on numerous West End productions as Musical Director, deputy Musical Director or keyboard player, including Evita (original production), Les Misérables (original production) They’re Playing Our Song, Little Me, Scrooge, Sherlock Holmes, The Baker's Wife, Spend Spend Spend, Fame, Me and My Girl, Anything Goes (all original productions), Grease, Beauty and the Beast, Jesus Christ Superstar and numerous other shows (all West End). For the Royal National Theatre: associate conductor of Oh What a Lovely War, Mother Courage, pianist on Guys and Dolls and keyboard player on Volpone. Dominic appeared in Ken Loach’s film Riff Raff and Mike Leigh’s Topsy Turvy, has written music for tv signature themes and for various theatre productions, has taught at all of the London Drama colleges and has been personal Musical Director for such performers as Fenella Fielding, Marti Webb, Cleo Laine and Johnny Dankworth. He has worked at Greenwich Theatre with young local performers and recently been Associate Musical Director for the West End and touring productions of the Olivier nominated The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas, conducting the show all over the UK, Europe and the USA. He has made several music documentaries for BBC Radio 4 and is currently musical director and arranger for the singer Mark Kingswood, with whom he has toured supporting Russell Watson and in 2022 Gladys Knight, to much acclaim.
