Pianist Yingying Wang has extensive experience as both a collaborative pianist and a solo performer. She has worked widely as an accompanist for choral ensembles, vocalists, dancers, and instrumentalists, participating in rehearsals and concerts across a broad range of settings. She was invited to serve as a certified accompanist for the Young Artist Concerto Competition (FCWS) in Jacksonville during the 2013 and 2016 seasons.
As a piano performance major, Ms. Wang is deeply engaged in collaborative music-making and has enjoyed a professional career working with distinguished chamber musicians, ensemble groups, solo instrumentalists, singers, and orchestras. She is a fellowship recipient of the Aspen Music Festival and School and has served as a chamber music coach at the Montecito Music Festival in California.
Ms. Wang has performed in master classes for renowned musicians including Arie Vardi, Sergey Babayan, Nelita True, Yoheved Kaplinsky, Jerome Lowenthal, and Natalya Antonova, among others.
She is the recipient of numerous awards from competitions at both the state and international levels. In addition to performing solo recitals and concerts, she is passionate about teaching young pianists and coaching chamber and ensemble groups.
