Jonathan Newby is a highly trained and qualified professional pianist and teacher. He began having piano lessons at the age of seven and when he was only ten years of age he played the part as 'Young Elton John' on Television. In March 2007 he was selected to perform in the Associated Board High Achievers Concert for scoring a high distinction at grade 8.

After completing his performance diploma which he took at the Royal College of Music in 2010, Jonathan has just recently graduated and has been awarded a degree with honours in music performance and an LTCL in teaching from Trinity College of Music (Trinity Laban) which is one of the top music conservatoires in the country and is linked with the 'Trinity Guildhall' examining board.

Jonathan has a real passion for performing and accompanying. Jonathan has trained under Roger Green at Trinity College of Music who has performed at the Wigmore Hall. He has also received training from the famous concert pianist 'Margaret Fingerhut' and participated in master classes with 'Philip Fowke'.

Since 2003 Jonathan has worked privately and at various music schools across the UK and has achieved 100% pass success rate with all his pupils he has entered for music examinations.
