I have 20 years of experience as a piano accompanist, with a focus on accompanying vocalists and choral ensembles. As a vocalist myself, I am particularly sensitive to the needs of vocal performers and can provide that support to a performance. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music & History from Monmouth College.
My skill as a sight reader is especially strong, and I am well known in my community as a reliable accompanist.
I am able to play in a wide range of musical styles-I work full time as an accompanist for the music and theater department at Glenbard North High School. I play for numerous local churches in my town and surrounding area and I currently accompany the DeKalb Festival Chorus, a community choir in DeKalb, IL. I also accompany local theater productions.
I can travel throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.
