Additional Info:

I am a Finnish pianist living in Richmond. I have graduated from Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris(Prix), Guildhall School of Music and Drama(BMus) and from Sibelius Academy(MA) in Finland. During the course of my studies I also attended several master classes in Prussia Cove and in Vienna with Ferenc Rados and in Italy with Konstantin Bogino. I won 3rd prize in the 2001 ›Mauro Paolo Monopoli‹ International Piano Competition in Barletta (Italy) and a special prize in 1994 Maj Lind National Piano Competition in Finland with a contemporary music performance. I perform as a soloist and chamber musician all over Europe, including festivals such as ›Musik På Slottet‹ in Stockholm, Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival in Wales, Wegelius, Särestö Soi and Espoo International Piano Week Festivals in Finland. I have also given recitals with musicians such as violinists Hagai Shaham, Ania Safonova and Hu Kun, with whom I also did a TV broadcast for Phoenix Satellite TV. I have also performed several times with the Dante Quartet and did a tour in Scotland with them in 2005.
I very much enjoy playing with other musicians as I find it interesting how much one can help, as a pianist, the other player by "lifting her/him up" to her/his highest standard.
I am looking for part time work as an accompanist in Surrey or in London.
