Ashley Urquhart graduated from the University of Toronto in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Music Performance in Jazz. This combined with her completion of RCM grade 10 while still in highschool has equipped her with an impressively varied skill set to apply to the world of accompanying.
She is equally comfortable sight reading classical music, chords/leadsheets, and improvising on demand. Her professional career has included roles such as MD in the world of musical theatre, church choir accompanist, rehearsal pianist and many many performances.
