Ben Hanson, freelance musician and educator, completed his B.A. in Vocal Music Education at the College of Saint Scholastica. As a pianist and tenor, he performs and educates in the Duluth/Superior area to students of all ages. He is currently the Vocal Director at Moose Lake Community Schools.

His previous teaching experiences include Chester Creek Academy, ALC and East High School. He also had private and public music studios where he taught piano and voice, substitute teacher, music director for various shows at the Duluth Playhouse.

Ben’s accomplishments include receiving 6 consecutive Superior ratings in the Duluth Music Teachers Association’s sponsored Junior Festival and a Certificate of Academic Excellence for outstanding achievement and contributions to the Choral Program at the College of St. Scholastica.

Mr. Hanson is an active pianist, vocalist, conductor, arranger and choral clinician. His professional memberships include: MMEA, NAfME, MFMC, ACDA, MAAP and is a licensed K-12 teacher in the state of Minnesota.
