Chris has trained with Concert Pianists, Cathedral Organists, Opera Singers and highly acclaimed Conductors. He has much experience as a teacher entering students for exams and preparing them for auditions and recitals. He has taught from primary school age through to 70+ years of age. Chris gives a warm and enthusiastic approach to teaching and offers the options of working towards exams or, learning purely for pleasure. There is also the choice of working towards a performance assessment - students perform to an examiner without any grading and receive constructive feedback.

As a performer Chris is available in many capacities. His performance experience ranges from singing in Cathedral choirs, through to performing at Weddings, giving solo recitals and accompanying choirs and soloists. He has acted as a bass soloist for oratorio performances, accompanied Nottingham and De Montfort University music recitals and also many students taking graded and diploma music exams, choirs and choral society’s.
