Christian L. Stahr is a professional pianist, music director, composer, and orchestrator based in Cary, North Carolina, serving Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and the greater Triangle area.

An experienced musical theatre pianist and accompanist, Christian works with singers and performers for auditions, rehearsals, coaching sessions, concerts, and productions. He is a strong sight-reader with extensive experience playing a wide range of musical theatre repertoire and enjoys working collaboratively with performers to create confident, expressive performances.

Christian holds an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and has studied musicology, composition, and orchestration at the University of Oslo and the Norwegian Academy of Music. His regional theatre work includes collaborations with PlayMakers Repertory Company, Burning Coal Theatre, Raleigh Little Theatre, Cary Players, North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre and Theatre Academy Productions.

In addition to live accompaniment, Christian creates professional piano accompaniment and rehearsal tracks and works as an arranger, orchestrator, and music engraver using Sibelius and Logic Pro.

Available for auditions, rehearsals, vocal accompaniment, musical theatre productions, concerts, coaching sessions, and accompaniment-track production.
