I am a classically trained pianist with a distinction at grade 8 piano and a BA Honours degree in Music and have 7 years of experience playing in bands and with solo musicians at function gigs as well as in pubs and clubs. I am regularly asked to accompany for rehearsals and was the rehearsal pianist and accompanist for my university choir which involved over 100 members. In and out university I have accompanied several different musicians for end of year of recitals and public and private gigs, playing all kind of music including rock, pop, jazz and musical theatre. I have played in bands for musical theatre productions as well as assisted in musical directing. I am a very good sight-reader as well as an improviser with a very good ear. I can also play the guitar and sing to a decent standard.
