My first experience as an accompanist was at age 15 when I got a PT job working at a dance studio in the ballet class. Later at 18, I was hired by a local high school to accompany Once Upon A Mattress--a contract position which lead me into accompanying local amateur theater companies.

During my post-secondary education, I studied piano with Dr. Rex Cooper at Pacific Conservatory at University of the Pacific in Stockton CA. I was also trained to accompany vocal and instrumental soloists from UOP. Some of my conservatory peers still contact me today to perform with them or their current students decades after we have all graduated.

After graduation, I took on a choral accompaniment position at a local church which started my work as a church musician. It lead to accompanying church musical productions like the ones presented at Easter and Christmas. These days, I help lead worship at Reality Church Ventura.

Currently, I work with middle-school and high-school choirs along with students soloists from the schools that I work with. I will still accept adult musicians who are interested in my services though.
