Native of Russia, Elena Doubovitskaya gave her debut recital in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in 2002 as part of Artists International Presentations, followed by number of solo and chamber music recitals in New York Metropolitan Area and in Sacramento, California. During four consecutive years (2002-2005) Ms. Doubovitskaya performed and coached at the East-West Summer Music Festival in Altenburg, Germany, extending her career in chamber music and piano accompaniment.

As an outstanding chamber musician Ms. Doubovitskaya was invited to perform with the faculty, colleagues and students from the Manhattan School of Music, Northwestern University, California State University- Sacramento, Wagner College in New York City, DePaul University and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In 2009 Ms. Doubovitskaya was granted a fellowship to Tanglewood Music Festival where she collaborated with outstanding fellows and faculty and participated in masterclasses with distinguished artists such as James Levine, Emanual Ax, Garrick Ohlson, Claude Frank, Leif Ove Andsnes, Dawn Upshaw and Martin Katz. She also performed in Prague International Piano Masterclasses, Adamant Music School Masterclass with Menahem Pressler, Hot Springs Music Festival and Sewanee Music Festival.

Ms. Doubovitskaya served as vocal/instrumental coach at the California State University-Sacramento and Wagner College in New York City. She frequently coaches Russian vocal repertoire at Northwestern University Bienen School of Music and accompanies for the vocal studios of Nancy Gustafson. Her exceptional quality skills lead to collaboration with the 67th Young Musicians Concert (sponsored by Associated Music Teachers League) held in Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, where she performed as an accompanist for the winners of the competition.

Ms. Doubovitskaya’s awards and scholarships include Artist International Special Presentation Award, leading to Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall Debut, two prizes from Seattle International Piano Competition, Distinguished Special Mention Award from Ibla Grand Prize Competition in Italy, Adele and John Gray Memorial Fellowship and Felicia Montealegre Bernstein Fellowship (Tanglewood Music Festival), Dorothy L. Pound Award and Eckstein Grant from Northwestern University, and Manhattan School of Music Scholarship among others.

She received her undergraduate degree from Ural State “Mussorgsky” Conservatory (Ekaterinburg, Russia). Ms. Doubovitskaya completed her Master of Music Degree and received Professional Studies Diploma at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City where she studied with Prof. Solomon Mikowsky. Ms. Doubovitskaya is currently a doctoral candidate in Piano Performance at Northwestern University Bienen School of Music studying with Prof. Ursula Oppens (up to 2008) and with Prof. Sylvia Wang.
