My name is Ethan Hopper, and I recently received my Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory.
During my time at UMKC, I focused much of my time on collaborative piano, including accompanying doctoral and masters students at their recitals, playing for vocal studios, playing orchestral reductions for various concertos, playing with the wind orchestra, playing in the pit orchestra for musicals, and accompanying other soloists and chamber groups as part of collaborative piano classes. I am good at sight-reading and learning lots of music very quickly. I am not comfortable with improvisation or open score reading.
