Felicity Mazur-Park is an English composer, pianist, and organist based in Texas. Dr. Mazur-Park teaches music theory and organ at Dallas Baptist University while also serving as the dynamic Director of Music at Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church in Fort Worth. Her vibrant creativity and dedication to excellence as a performer and composer have garnered praise as she skillfully and thoughtfully balances tradition with innovation. She is a rising star in the music world! Her captivating works have been performed by esteemed ensembles like Les flûtistes de Montréal, Juventas New Music Ensemble, Oklahoma City University Faculty Quintet, Xanthos, The Boston Conservatory Orchestra, Ludovico Ensemble, Texas Christian University Symphonic Band, Texas New Music Ensemble, Transient Canvas, Brave New Works, The Estrella Consort, and Q365 Saxophone Quartet.

Her Master of Education thesis, World Music in Nashville: A Choral Approach, won Tennessee State University’s graduate oral presentation award at its Spring 2017 Research Forum for the Arts, and her M.M. thesis is an hour-long opera based on Anton Chekhov’s play, The Seagull. She won the 12th Annual Sherry Clarkson Prize for Best Scholarly Paper at the RAW Conference at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2023 and the 2024 American Guild of Organists’ Student Commissioning Project in collaboration with organist David Preston.

Dr. Mazur-Park regularly presents her academic work nationally and internationally. She presented and/or performed at Taylor Swift: The Conference Era at Indiana University in 2023, and the GAMuT Conference at the University of North Texas, the Music by Women festival at Mississippi University for Women, the National Association of Composers USA (NACUSA) National Conference, and the National College Music Society conference in Washington, DC in 2024. Her DMA Composition Dissertation is an organ concerto based on the text of the Ordinary of the Mass and the music of pioneering women composers throughout history and was performed in April 2025 in Ed Landreth Auditorium at Texas Christian University.

Dr. Mazur-Park has a Bachelor of Music degree from The Boston Conservatory, a Master of Education degree from Tennessee State University, and Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Texas Christian University. She has studied music composition with Andrew M. Wilson, Jan Swafford, Dalit Warshaw, Andy Vores, Marti Epstein, Olga Harris, Robert Xavier Rodriguez, Martin Blessinger, and Blaise Ferrandino and organ with H. Joseph Butler.
