Felix is a 20-year-old pianist living in Bristol. Having played the piano for over 16 years, he has developed a successful freelance career as a Musical Director and Accompanist.
Whilst studying at Bristol Pre- Conservatoire under Dr. Jonathan James, Felix gained a large amount of chamber music experience, as well as tuition in jazz performance.
During this time, he also played for South Gloucestershire Music Hub, playing in venues including Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and St Georges, Bristol.
Recently, Felix won a place to study a PostGraduate Diploma course at WIAV (Wales International Academy of Voice) in Repetiteurship and Accompaniment, starting in January 2021.
Felix is currently a Musical Director for Bristol Musical Theatre, as well as an accompanist for The Big Act Academy of Theatre Arts. He also works closely with graduates from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Associated Studios and the Urdang Academy in London.
Credits as MD include: The Last Five Years (2021), and Peer Gynt- a reimagining (Circle Theatre, 2019).
As a highly proficient sight reader, Felix often accompanies choral societies in and around the Bristol area, as well as instrumental exams (up to diploma) and masterclasses.
Felix also enjoys session work and is available for recordings on request.
Currently studying under British concert pianist, Helen Reid, Felix is preparing his LTCL Piano Performance Diploma, with an exciting programme of Schumann, Poulenc and Kapustin.
