Hi! My name is Jackson Poling, or Jackson the Composer Poling on YouTube and Spotify. I am a composer and pianist that is currently studying composition in my final year of my Bachelors at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

My skills:
-I have RCM Grade 10 Piano and Theory
-Composition skills and improvisation (both in jazz and contemporary contexts)
-Comfortable playing many kinds of music such as pop, rock, gospel, soul, funk, RnB, Jazz, experimental, electronic, opera, lieder, instrumental, musical theatre, and I willing to learn more!
-Played in Rock and Pop bands, and comfortable improvising solos in jazz and rock contexts
-Accompanied choirs at Douglas College in concerts, as well as voice students and instrumental ensembles

Willing to step outside of my comfort zone musically, and step up to any challenge necessary. If you want an accompanist that is dedicated to doing a good job, I'm your piano person :)
