Concert pianist. Founder and artistic director of the Viktor Ullmann Foundation. Painter, writer, composer and arranger. Very experienced accompanist for singers, instrumentalists and all genres of dance and qualified inspirational teacher. Orchestral pianist. Freelance accompanist for Rambert Dance Company, Michael Clark Company, Matthew Bourne Adventures in Motion Pictures and English National Ballet Company. Improvisation is a special interest as is contemporary dance. Alumni Yehudi Menuhin School, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Nordoff Robbins Music Therapist, Alumni Yvonne Loriod Messiaen, Jeanne Loriod. Teachers have included Nadia Boulanger, Vlado Perlemuter, Marcel Ciampi, Yehudi Menuhin, Gerald Moore, James Gibb.
Among many prestigious international awards received includes the Nadia and Lili Boulanger International Foundation Scholarship, awarded by Yehudi Menuhin and Witold Lutoslawski for the purpose of studying Olivier Messiaen's Vingt Regards sur L'Enfant Jesus with Yvonne Loriod in Paris, France. Also awarded a French Government Scholarship - including studying the Ondes Martenot with Jeanne Loriod, privately and at the Conservatoire St Maur des Fosses - 1986-1987.
Chosen to participate in Olivier Messiaen's Music Analysis class at Centre Acanthe, Villeneuve les Avignon, France, 1987, and to perform in the concert in the presence of the composer (OM) - lessons also with Pierre Laurent Aimard and Roger Muraro. Awarded a Yvonne Loriod Bursary to enable participation and study at Centre Acanthe.
