Hi, my name is Jacy De Sousa. I am currently a sixth-form student, studying music.

I am an avid musician and I love playing and performing. I am a multi-instrumentalist, playing piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone and bassoon. I am also a composer. I have played piano for 7 years, originally self taught but eventually received lessons. I have ABRSM grade 8 distinction in piano and I am a confident sight-reader. I am able to play many different genres, whether that's classical, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, pop etc. Whatever is required!

I've had experience accompanying school choirs on piano as well as rehearsing with family members for fun or for music exams. I was assistant musical director from my secondary school musicals and accompanied rehearsals with the cast. Although I may not be as experienced as some, I would like the opportunity to accompany musicians more (for performances/exams etc.) and make a name for myself. I am friendly, organised and flexible and I'll make sure you get the best out of working with me.

I am willing to travel but not too far out of the Brighton and Hove area. I will cover my own travel expenses where required.
