I began piano lessons at the age of 9 and was playing Beethoven's Sonata's by the age of 13. I have taught piano starting when I was 16 years old. I began teaching exclusively in 1998 first at my home and then in combination with a music studio.

I accompanied the highschool choirs and performed with the orchestra for the musicals when I was in highschool.

I have played for my church since I was 13 years old. This has included playing for the choirs, church services, weddings, and funerals. Within the past 5-7 years I have taken on the role of the choir director at my church.

I also returned to my highschool as an accompanist for approximately 3 years, first in a substitute position, and then as pianist for one of the other highschools now in our district.

I have also accompanied students for the band and vocal contests that are typically held in February or March of each year.

My claim to fame, if you want to call it that, is my piano technique. I receive many compliments on how beautifully I play the piano. I also have a canny ability to sightread very easily.

Fees

Piano lesson fees are $15.00 for half an hour. When I play for a wedding I generally charge from $100-$150 depending on the location of the wedding, and whether or not there is a rehearsel practice. If there is a soloist I add another $25-$30.
