I have a B.A. in Music History/Literature from St. Olaf College. I have been an accompanist since the 8th grade, and love the collaborative work I get to do. I have accompanied both instrumentalists and vocalists, as well as both professional and community choral groups and school and professional theater. Most of my current work is with local theater companies, as both accompanist and/or Music Director.
I have been the staff accompanist for the local Gilbert & Sullivan company for over 30 years. I have also been employed as an accompanist in four different school districts locally, as my full-time job. These jobs included classroom assistance, running of sectionals, sometimes running the rehearsals, in addition to accompanying all of the school choirs. I am confident running rehearsals, both choral and theatrical, and coaching musically any of the individuals that I work with. I have played violin, bassoon, flute, and still sing on a regular basis. I have worked with many great teachers and conductors, who have helped me to improve further my coaching skills. I am available for weddings, concerts, theater, coaching. Thanks for considering me!!

$225 per wedding (starting rate, depending upon length, repertoire, and special requests)
