I am an experienced accompanist, piano and organ and have now retired from a career in music education. I have a B.Mus (London), M.A. (music education), ATCL (organ performers) and am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. I taught in secondary schools for 18 years and was Head of Hertfordshire Music Service for 15 years. Most recently I was Chief Executive of the Federation of Music Services, during which I time I edited the instrumental teaching curriculum 'A Common Approach'. For 15 years I was a specialist music inspector for Ofsted. I am currently Director of Music at St Peter and St Paul Church, Olney and an accompanist for grade examinations at Northamptonshire Music and Arts Trust.

I have continued to perform throughout my career, but now enjoy work as an accompanist for concerts, examinations - soloists and choirs.

My fee depends on the nature of the engagement and can be discussed on an individual basis.
