Jojo is a Third-year student studying a Bachelor of Laws(Hons) and Bachelor of Music at the Australian National University in Canberra. She majors in piano performance and has been playing the piano for more than 10 years. She is a motivated and passionate young musician who aspires to perform for all kinds of audiences and spread her love for classical music.
In 2024, she was one of the 5 Canberra Symphony Orchestra's Kingsland Fellows and was also a Wesley Music Scholar at the Wesley Uniting Church. She won the Margaret Smiles Associate Musician Prize in both 2023 and 2024 and was one of the finalists in the Whitworth Roach Classical Music Competition in 2023.
At the age of 14, she received my LTCL (Licentiate Trinity College, London), and is currently preparing for my FTCL (Fellowship Trinity College, London). She has participated in various international piano competitions, like the Queensland Piano Competition and the Zhongsin International Music Competition. She participated in the Ameropa Chamber Music Festival in 2018 and 2019, where she performed chamber music with musicians around the globe in Prague.
Jojo's love for accompanying started when she became the pianist for her school choir. She has accompanied many instrumentalists for their exams and performances, and hopes to keep that going!
