As a soloist and chamber musician I have performed in venues throughout the UK such as the Queen Elizabeth Hall and King’s Place in London, the Richard Attenborough Centre in Leicester, Wakefield Cathedral and Elgin Town Hall in Moray, Scotland, and have been awarded first prizes in music festivals across the UK.
As well as performing in public concerts and recitals, I also accompany ABRSM exams (All grades 1 - 8 and Diploma), auditions and private functions.
I studied the piano with John Gough at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester from which I graduated with a BMus(Hons) in 2008 and went on to study Piano Accompaniment with Andrew West and Tessa Nicholson at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
I have participated in masterclasses with Yonty Solomon, Angela Brownridge, Julius Drake, Michael Dussek, Carole Presland, Liwei Qin and Ralph Kirshbaum.
As a keen performer of contemporary music, I have worked with many composers, most recently premiering a new work by Rachel Leach with members of the London Sinfonietta and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. I have also performed on contemporary film soundtracks.
