Lin Lao is a seasoned pianist, accomplished accompanist, and dedicated piano teacher, boasting over two decades of experience. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and is currently pursuing her Doctoral of Musical Arts in Piano Performance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Lin's career is marked by active involvement in major academic conferences, where she has not only performed but also presented her expertise. Her contributions have been showcased at renowned events such as the Early Music America Summit, Historical Keyboard Society of North America, Westfield Center of Historical Keyboard Studies, and the North Carolina Music Teacher Association Annual Conference.
Furthermore, she played for symphony orchestras for the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her repertoire spans a wide range of works, including iconic compositions such as Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker," George Walker's "Sinfonia," and the east coast premiere of Tom Cipullo's American contemporary opera, "Glory Denied."
