Ling Lo, current doctoral candidate at Michigan State University in Piano Performance, holding two master degree in Piano Performance from Boston University and Collaborative Piano from Michigan State University. As an active collaborative pianist, Ms. Lo has been invited as a guest artist to present duo recitals at several universities including Purdue University Fort Wayne, Olivet College, Saginaw Valley State University, the University of Louisville, SUNY Potsdam, Schenectady County Community College, and the University of Kentucky. Additionally, Ms. Lo has served as a festival pianist for the Mid-West Regional Tuba and Euphonium Conference, Leonard Falcone International Euphonium and Tuba Festival, Henri Selmer Summer Clarinet Festival, and The Potsdam Clarinet Summit. I have also worked as a rehearsal pianist for opera productions such as “Le Nezzo di Figaro”, “Dido and Aeneas”, “Street Scene”, and “Fracker’s Summer Show”.
Ms. Lo has established a wide range of collaborative repertoire including strings, brass, woodwinds, and vocal/opera areas. She has a strong passion for chamber music, having formed several chamber groups that focus on both classical and contemporary repertoire, including a piano, violin, and clarinet trio, a piano quartet, and currently the “Connexion Trio”.
