In 2023, Mako organized, led, and performed in several concerts, including Mozart's Fortepiano Concerti (February and March) and Haydn's Fortepiano Concerto (November), with an orchestra consisting of her chamber music colleagues in The Hague.

She has performed as both a soloist and chamber musician in The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France, and Japan. Performances highlights include concerts at several historically significant venues such as the Mendelssohn House and the Grassi Museum in Leipzig. She has also appeared at renowned festivals, including the Utrecht Early Music Festival, and worked with ensembles such as the Dresden Philharmonic Trio. In 2025, her first CD as Duo Flânerie (with violinist Saaya Ikenoya) will be released under Da Vinci Publishing.
Born in Gifu, Japan, Mako studied piano at the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music. She earned her first master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik Dresden in 2020 and furthered her studies in fortepiano at the Hochschule für Theater und Musik Leipzig, where she graduated in 2022. From 2021 to 2025, she continued her fortepiano studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague under Bart van Oort, Petra Somlai, and Richard Egarr.
Mako values the opportunity to return to Japan each year to give solo recitals, sharing her music with audiences in her home country. She is grateful for the generous support she has received throughout her career, including scholarships from Rotary International District 2630 (2019) and the Adriana Jacoba Fund Awards (2022–2024).
